It kind of warped my already warped mind just a little more to learn that 'colourists' are a thing. It's possible to be 'not black enough' for some black folks.

In the old days colourists used to be guys who coloured comic books. Nowadays it's apparently some kind of paid position with the only job duty of harassing someone who doesn't meet some infantile skin-shade criteria. Kind of a first-world problem, despite black folks being involved, because only a society without much more serious issues would have the free time to even think up something as stupid as this one is.
