From the CBC report, I was actually suprised not by where, but how many. The mother in the story quoted CSIS as saying it was two or three young men a day leaving for the middle east, for weeks. And that was just from Calgary.
Can we suspend their passports from ever returning to Canada? Canadians seemingly are popping up in too many of these types of groups. The attack on the refinery in Algeria, Syria, Afghanistan, and who knows where else are involving Canadian citizens being involved with or committing terrorist acts.

That was exactly the concerns CSIS had. What do we do with returning radicalized men who have been fighting a guerilla war, and what problems will they cause here at home.

We haven't had a 9-11, Shoe Bombers or a Boston marathon style bombing....all attacks carried out by Muslims the American government gave visas to. Seems you've got more than your fair share of radicals compared to us.
