George Jones, the hard-living country singer who recorded dozens of hits about good times and regrets and peaked with the heartbreaking classic He Stopped Loving Her Today, has died.

    The President of Country Music...

    Several years ago I travelled to BVJ when it was still being held in Craven, Sask just to see George Jones perform. He finally did show up! I was rather disappointed though as he got the whole audience hyped up sayin " We're gonna sing & play till the sun comes up..." etc, and then about 40 mins into the show he finished a song and then just walked off the stage, and that was it!

    Ironic that he passed during his Farewell Tour. Farewell George. 'One for the road' wouldn't be enough,so... RIP.
