The President of Country Music...Several years ago I travelled to BVJ when it was still being held in Craven, Sask just to see George Jones perform. He finally did show up! I was rather disappointed though as he got the whole audience hyped up sayin " We're gonna sing & play till the sun comes up..." etc, and then about 40 mins into the show he finished a song and then just walked off the stage, and that was it!
Ironic that he passed during his Farewell Tour. Farewell George. 'One for the road' wouldn't be enough,so...
