Religion of peace brings justification for everything,

and a big bag of hypocracy to boot.

That's cool. Do the rest of us now get to blame all of Christianity itself the next time some preacher says that God wants him to beat up his wife with a broom handle?

Not a good way to combat negative stereotypes of Muslims, that's for sure. If he'd at least left the head on the body, that would have already worked in his favor.

Well, He did give a cultural understanding of what it is like to be a woman in that culture.

I hope he gets reincarnated as a woman in Pakistan.

Thank you Mo! I now have a very deep and honest understanding of the Muslim religion.

Hmmm... So because he's Muslim, it's honor killing, but when a non-Muslim does the same, it's a crime of passion. Ok.

The Hassans started the Bridges TV network in 2004, saying they wanted to counter negative stereotypes and media portrayals of Muslims in a post-September 11 world

Way to prove your point fucknuts.

Good thing he was a "moderate" huh? :|

I'd like to take this opportunity to lay down the truth about Christianity and about how Christians are regularily wrongly portrayed in the media. We're a swell group of people that love everyone. Now if you'll excuse me, there's an abortion doctor that needs murdering.

I honestly don't recall a "crime of passion" ending in a beheading, but it does seem to be a favourite with members of a certain religious cult.

I'd say that its rather than religious, just like Suttee was/is cultural rather than a Hindu thing.

The media reports allude to the fact that this is a common form of killing by husbands who have been cheated on, or women of ‘loose’ morals in parts of Pakistan.

It’s also a favourite technique of murder by the Pakistani Taliban.

That’s where people need to get with the program. Bhurka’s are , not religious, it just happens that whacked out Muslims think it’s a religious thing when the Quran just says basically ‘dress modestly’, not make sure all your chicks are wearing full length bags on their head and body.

This is where multicult fails us again. The apologists accept these cultural oddities as ‘religious’ when the most clearly are not, and accommodate these fanatics from the Stone Age.

We need to quit giving religious exemptions to anyone. Freedom of religion should mean believe what you want, worship who and where you want, but keep it private. No more tax exemptions for churches, no religious state funded schools, etc.

Dunno what to do about Christmas and Easter in that case, but changing the names of those holidays to shut up all the people who want an exemption from some rule that everybody else follows it will be worth it. We can still have Santa Claus and a Christmas tree, just don't call it Christmas - Call Capitalist Spending Orgy Day. And move it to Dec 21. Easter can stay Easter since I doubt too many people worship Oestre anymore - but keep that day as March 21.

The Hindus do honor killings, too. It's just as wrong and just as evil.
