Want a job editing porn or something close to it? A Montreal company is advertising for a video editor who must be comfortable working in the “adult industry.” The ad also says the federal government is sponsoring the position.

    Reminds me of the early 80s when the Edmonton Police set up a sting operation that not only paid guys to visit massage parlours, but paid for their massages (alas I was too young to participate :lol: ).

    Entirely possible that the posting is, indeed, government funded by a OFTTC or CPTC grant. No offense, but if the productions are for export then that's what those programs are supposed to do is to help Canadian media industries to do their work. Where such stuff is legal in Canada I don't see what the fuss is about.

    It sounds a lot like the Alberta government's STEP program, but given that it's in Montreal, it might be the FWSEP program...
