CALGARY - The Crown has failed to establish a repeat abuser with a sexual interest in young children and animals is a dangerous offender, his lawyer argued Friday.

“There’s an almost 15-year gap from the date of the (last) sexual assault,” the lawyer said.

All that means is he didn't get caught. I'm guessing that lawyer doesn't have any children of his own.

Perhaps Mark Gottlieb can prove that Charles Manson isn't dangerous in that he hasn't killed anyone in prison and should be released.

The prosecution presented evidence Todd was “grooming” two young boys in 2005, or 2006, including one he had sit in his lap while the offender was naked.

Seems if the defending attorney can overlook this, he's either an idiot.....or perhaps the police should be looking closer at him too, and maybe even a search of his premises may be in order, including his computers. What's next, is the lawyer going to declare that this monster's ravings have some artistic merit???
