Surrey truck driver Avtar Singh Grewal is hoping he's Canadian enough to avoid a date with death in the United States.

The crime did not occur in Canada.
The accused did not flee to Canada.
The accused is not a Canadian citizen.

Why is Foreign Affairs wasting the paper to produce a statement ?

The only thing Canada should do here, is revoke his PR status and make him not admissible to access Canada in anyway possible.
Once he is convicted though. Before that, stay the hell out of it.

Sorry you stupid whiney fuck, residents aren't citizens. Canada is under NO obligation to protect those that are "just visitng" when they aren't even here in the first place. The man commited murder, he admitted to it, and was NOT a Canadian citizen. Canada needs to stay the fuck out of this.
