LOURDES, France - People must accept death at "the hour chosen by God," Pope Benedict told ailing pilgrims Monday in an anti-euthanasia message at Lourdes
"Hyack" said I'm sure there are a great many people on this site and others who wish you the very best of luck......and may all your wishes come true.......
Well there you go, you will soon get your wish. You know I have been hospitalized with pneumonia that so far 2 kinds of antibiotics have so far been unable to cure.
Apo-erythro 2000MG daily dose and still no luck.
The burning in the lunges and throat, the squeezing feeling of the lunges, and of course your body clearing out all the good and bad bacteria.
Get well soon, tritium. I am not religious at all, so I take no delight in wishing people sick or dead just because they happen to disagree with me at times.
The Pope said in his homily that the ill should pray to find "the grace to accept, without fear or bitterness, to leave this world at the hour chosen by God."
Why? Do people believe God is sitting around arbitrarily deciding when to pull the plug on everyone? By that logic, shouldn't we scrap medicine entirely, since it's messing with the hour chosen by God?
Sorry, tritium, no antibiotics for you, God's apparently decided that you should get an infection and die. Try not to be afraid or bitter about it, I'm sure God's got a really good reason.

Thanks robmik43, appreciate you.
I'm sure Hyack was just kidding, no hard feelings.

That's the idiocy of religion for you.
