Canada is taking heat from activists at the Bali climate change conference, who are accusing government negotiators of undermining the process.

GW is a political thingy and the Chinese know this-----as does anyone one else other than a fence-post liberal. A fence-post liberal is one who will vote liberal even if it is a fence-post bearing the liberal lable.

Refusing to be a part of the most hideous and economically-destructive socialist wealth-redistribution scam in history is a sign of genuine leadership. Canada should be proud that we finally got a government that said "No" to this fear-mongering BS.

Here's something I don't understand. Perhaps somebody can explain it to me.

The left was recently elected in Australia in the person of Kevin Rudd, right? The liberal media trumpeted the election as a victory for climate change. At first Rudd didn't disappoint. He more or less immediately ratified the ineffectual and functionally meaningless Kyoto accord for Australia.

Then Bali begins. Here's what the australians are saying now...

Trade Minister Simon Crean says developing countries like China and India must set tough binding emissions targets before Australia agrees to a new Kyoto agreement beyond 2012.

Both rich and poor nations must commit to slashing greenhouse gas emissions if the world wants to solve global warming, Australia's trade minister said Saturday at a landmark climate change summit.

Isn't that the same position Harper is taking? So why is Harper the black hat villain for eco-socialists, but Rudd is seen as riding in on a white horse to save the day?
