No tanks. Dis by only eats hoofed land mammals dat are vegetarian or slightly omnivorous(wild boar if available, and once some bear but never again).....well I guess rabbit too.

Yes. I found it paradoxically greasy yet lean, somewhat tough, but flavorful. Akin to eating grass fed goose. I kind of figured it would be somewhat oily. As with any wild game it would make all the difference in how it's handled and prepared.

Never tried seal. The kids in Newfoundland said "Good. We'd like you to come visit again sometime"

Seal Flipper Pie is a Newfoundland delicacy I've tried. It's the most disgusting thing you can imagine, and if it's possible - reheated as leftovers it is worse.
I feel sympathy for the poor bastards who have to hunt seal to put meat on the table.

If you don't want to eat the seal, don't eat the seal.
Go ahead. Eat the seal.

Why is eating seal a controversy?
Because of the controversy over the seal hunt mostly.
