Well, we'll know who is to blame when our relationship with the US takes a deep turn south. including trade.

    Just bad news all around.

Agreed, little spud could have went down to DC, shook his hand and personally invited the new President for the traditional first international trip to Canada.

Cause photo ops are so much more important than representing Canada

He isn't doing that either, not by a long shot.

Foreign leaders are typically not invited to inaugurations due to security concerns - I don't believe Harper attended either of Obama's events for example....

The story is more a fake news attempt to turn Trudeau's not being invited into a way to score political points - Trudeau appearis to join the left's boycott of the inauguration but he has a good pro-Canada cover story that could also win points.

No he's touring about Canada meeting Canadians like a Canadian Prime Minister is supposed to do.
Not rushing down south to stick his tongue up the arse of the President. You have him confused with Mulroney...
Noticed the huge media attempt to draw anti-JT sentiment over him taking a Christmas vacation too. Didn't seem to work.

Do you honestly think a US company that's making billions in Canada or from doing business with Canadians is going to throw it all away in protest just because Justin wasn't at Donald's party?

Nobody seriously cares, least of all Americans.

The partygoers will be far too busy molesting the waitresses and railing the national product of Bolivia up their nostrils to even notice that Justin & Sophie aren't there.

Well, if Trudeau is avoiding Trump, then he probably won't be there either. "Is that bitch coming? What do you think she will wear?"

Sorry, I couldn't find my "tongue-in-cheek" smilie.
