But this President ran on a theme of 'Drain The Swamp'. "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss . . ."

    And the build-up to Trump's corruption-fest continues.

    1) Earlier it was announced that in an unprecedented move, Republicans will try to "ram through" Senate confirmation hearings for 6 of Trump's cabinet nominees on the same day. Shocking enough as the above is on it's own, they're also scheduling a Trump press conference and a Republican 24-hour marathon"vote-o-rama" on "dozens and dozens" of bills and amendments, including repealing Obamacare that same day.

The goal of cramming all of this into one day is to minimize public scrutiny and criticism of their legislative agenda and of the cabinet nominees themselves. At worst, the Republicans will have one bad day of media coverage, but even then there will be too much detail for the media to cover in a single news cycle,so much of their agenda will simply go unreported.

    2) Days before the Senate confirmation hearings, the Office of Government Ethics has not been able to properly screen Trump's nominees despite their numerous potential conflicts of interest as they have not received the necessary disclosures. Before Senate confirmation hearings take place, the OGE is supposed to screen nominees to identify and report to the Senate on any current or potential conflicts of interest. You may recall that in a secret vote held on the New Years holiday, the Republicans basically tried to shut down the OGE but backed off when the media got wind and the story triggered public outrage. This appears their to be their Plan B.

In a letter to Senators, the direct of the OGE complained that the confirmation scheduling "has created undue pressure on OGE's staff and agency ethics officials to rush through these important reviews...More significantly, it has left some of the nominees with with potentially unknown or unresolved ethics issues shortly before their scheduled hearings. I am not aware of any occasion in the four decades since OGE was established when the Senate held a confirmation hearing before the nominee had completed the ethics review process."

Trump is turning the US government into an organized criminal enterprise, just like Putin' regime is. This is the real road to serfdom, folks.

Another deplorable acting deplorably and too stupid and uninformed to even understand what he's talking bout.

I know it's pointless talking to vulgar idiots such as you but for the other people reading the site let me break it down that quote:

The real "Lying Bitches" were the Republicans, who were saying that the Sentate's pending healthcare bill was going to have "Death panels", "mandatory abortion" etc. Remember those lies Martin? What happened to Obama's death panels? Show me be the Death panels.

Anyway, since the Senate hadn't actually produced a healthcare bill yet (which would then get presented to the public, voted on by congress, etc.) Pelosi gave a speech stating that once the senate had actually produced a bill, the Republican lying bitches would be proved wrong and that American would find much in it that they actually like.

The full quote (from a 20-minute speech mind you) is:
You've heard about the controversies within the bill, the process about the bill, one or the other. But I don't know if you have heard that it is legislation for the future, not just about health care for America, but about a healthier America, where preventive care is not something that you have to pay a deductible for or out of pocket. Prevention, prevention, prevention—it's about diet, not diabetes. It's going to be very, very exciting. But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy.

Of course, idiots like Martin have no idea what any of this means, or the original context of any of these tired Republican memes, let alone how a bill becomes a law in the US -so false truths and cherry-picked sound bites from the Republican lying bitches live on through the simpletons like him, essentially making Martin the only Lying Bitch here.

Hey Martin, remember not too long ago you kept posting about New York Times pledge to "rededicate itself" which you thought meant it was pledging loyalty to Trump or something? How'd that work out for you? You lying bitch.

How is it you can be so comically wrong so often and not have an inkling of how stupid you are?
