That's how you deal with terror, you spit in it's face, you flip the bird to those who think they can create fear and havok. Maybe for a few hours, but not the next day.

Doubtful. This isn't anything like the American response where the flags went up on Sept 11 and never came back down; in Germany if you wave a national flag with too much energy the cops zero in faster on you than they ever will on the jihadists and rapefugees. More like it's a rush by the German authorities to get the mess cleaned up and talk of the event suppressed as much as possible. Merkel's legacy is not to be questioned or memorialized at the places where the bodies are falling.

And so another victim is forgotten
Their murder glossed over like a dream
When the politicians say they stand for you
Remember they are never what they seem

It'd be nice if "Merken Berlin!" became the battle cry of the upcoming Ninth Crusade.
