I don't talk ill of the dead so I'll leave this topic alone except to say. I wish the people of Cuba all the best in their hour of redemption.

So, Trump's foreign policy just got defined.. Take Cuba back.

Hope the Cubans are ready for that.

Considering how many presidents he outlasted, the close scrapes that should have gotten him killed during the revolution, and the odd assassination attempt, it kinda seemed like he could live forever.

But I guess Father Time did what the CIA never could.

All that was left for him to feel complete as a man, was to met PE Trudeau's daughter Justin.

Whatever happens next in Cuba, its WAY past time to fully normalize relations between Cuba and the U.S. The guy was in office before most of us were even alive. The embargo has probabaly been the biggest foriegn policy failure of the U.S. in its history. Things are moving in the right direction, but they are still a long ways away from normal. Most Americans are still not free to just book a flight and hang out at a beach resort in Cuba. I have always wanted to visit Cuba, and its still on my bucket list. Mabey now that the perpetual boogyman is finally gone, we can swallow our pride, knock off the bullshit, and get back to (really) normalizing relations with what should be one of our best natural friends and allies. As a baseball enthusiast, I can only hope.

Here's a brand new idea: How about leave Cuba alone and let the Cubans run their own country as they see fit?
