    I'm rooting for him, simply for the fact so many people hate him just because he openly represents his faith. He is also the 2nd most sold jersey for the Mets, only outsold by former Jays prospect Noah Syndergaard.

    Mets were smart to take a flyer on him. Pure money either way, and who knows, he might even get an AB or two at the MLB level.

    Other than the usual suspects, most people don't hate him because of his faith. Most people hate him for impersonating an NFL Quarterback. :wink:

    Lump me in with the second group. He was a terrible QB who spent most of his games being bailed out by his team.

    Most people, including athiests, fully support others' right to freedom of religion. All we ask is not to have others' religious beliefs rammed down our throats. That's where Tebow lost the respect of fans and teammates alike. He was way across the line.
