The Alberta government is committing to a plan that will mean wind, hydro and solar will provide 30 per cent of Alberta’s electricity by 2030.

    getting back to electric cars. Can't name the show or who it was relaying the info, but they were saying with the present day grid system and codes. On an average street of 25 residents, only 3 charging stations could be installed. The whole electrical system would need to be rebuilt to have a charger in every home.

    And I have absolutely nothing to back that up.

    It's true. It was said about Quebec, and they have huge electricity infrastructure.

    Not sure what the point is of having electric cars fuelled by carbon generated electricity.

    The infrastructure is already there for the most part; it's easier to capture and store the emissions from one smokestack than a million tailpipes; and easier to shift that one carbon source to a renewable one.

    Yeah, just came from vacation in Crowsnest. Those windmills went up in just the last year did they?
    But Notley needs to come up with a removal plan, does she?
