It was just an impulse buy off a Value Village shelf, a cute bobblehead hockey player for $2.99. Turns out it was the jackpot of bobbleheads, worth $10,000.
My friend, who's the manager at my local Value Village tells me that things like this happen regularly. The girl who put books and media on the floor treats about 800 items a day... knickknacks more than that and even more clothing and other stuff. They just can't check everything on the Internet.
But sometimes they do... I saw a limited edition book at 800$. Even at that price, the person who bought it could probably sell it double that.
When I go there, I see clients checking prices on their phones... looking for great deals. Me, I'm looking for things I want, not for things I can make money with.

Value Village Stars coming soon.
New, the first Game of Thrones book is 11,99$ and I got it at VV for 2,99$, minus my 30% senior discount.
