Why?
Because people prefer to defend themselves instead of having the likes of you say that they are wrong to even want to.

Because target shooting is an enjoyable pastime. And it's growing.
I would also say that many of the people I know who were mainly hunters with non restricted firearms are now simply enjoying another form of shooting. It's self perpetuating, as there are more and more gun owners, who then tell more and more people the rates of gun ownership in general will increase.

Some are merely getting ready for that day of reckoning with the end product of the immigration system that people like you ruined our countries with.
