There's an odd little paradigm in which a few notable American liberal Jews hate Israel and cozy up to the most radical elements of Islam.
I am not familiar with Weiner in this regard (one way or the other) but given he's currently married to a a Muslim I can't imagine him being all that enamored of Israel.
I also knew a couple where the guy was an Iranian Muslim and the girl was Jewish. When I asked him why, he told me that he loved women who made sure that he wouldn't always win.
