    it has happened, not for speeding but for distracted driving. An RCMP member in a marked unit was turning out of a strip mall and cut off and almost hit a couple. They flagged him down and he admitted he was distracted on his computer when he was driving. Then got pretty belligerent saying he was doing his job and then started threatening them with a 'traffic enforcement check' and I wonder how many things he could find wrong with his truck etc. There is a you tube video of it somewhere.

    The couple filed a complaint, and he apologized for his unprofessional behavior.
