Then find the nerve to cut ties with the bastards.

I hope Trump does it for the USA.

Nah. We need them. They're one of the few out there holding fast with a sensible no-bullshit-allowed policy against the ongoing Muslim-a-go-go that's going on practically everywhere else.

THe Chinese could recite a laundry list of Human Right violations that Canada has been and IS engaged in. When you treat your citizens as Canada does without any accountability or consequences, you can have countries such as China speak down to your citizens with open disdain.

In the past even our allies would have spoken out against this chastising of Canada...

You mean like the kind Maher Arar endured, or the pretext to 2 years of solidary confinement that Richard Wolfe experienced?

Let the adults chat here. Your grade school humour regarding serious issues speaks volume about you and how you were raised.

If UN reports on Canada's Human Rights record is conspiracy than you are the one wearing the tinfoil hat. Making light of these real abuses and experiences further accentuates your attitude. I'm glad life's been all sunshine and rainbows for you.

Unfortunately, many have had a much different experience in this country. As much as many find it hypocritical when the Chinese are chastising Canada about Human Rights, many also find it hypocritical that we pretend to stand for the same principles that our closest allies fight and die for. Hanging our hats on something we don't even represent.

Just because the rest of us don't share your gripe again the cops doesn't mean we live in a fascist state. If all your complaints have been dismissed then it means you're the one in the wrong, not the rest of us or the system.

I've had written correspondence with Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch, U.S Attorney Generals. My concerns have been escalated to their Civil Rights division, the information I provided disseminated to those who's business it is to know what type of system they are dealing with; to what extent such a system will go to destroy someone's freedoms and pursuits in order to protect their own abuses.

China will continue to thumb their noses at us, our allies will continue to shrug their shoulders. Russia will test rockets off our shores without notice, our allies will not be interested since what we represent is no longer congruent with what our allies represent.

The IRS' scandal with persecuting conservative organizations and the Department of Justice's initiative to criminalize speech critical of global warming politics tend to illustrate what you said here.

The very fact that this information is publicly known and been critically challenged illustrates the difference between our systems.

Second, similar activities occur everywhere, the scale of intrusion is what makes Canada unique.
