TTC worker fired over open subway doors, union head says

Such a disparage in the accountability and consequences in this country for various civil servants. Certainly confusing all things considered.

But on the plus side, unlike SkyTrain the TTC rapid transit vehicle didn't grind to a complete halt and make all it's passengers wait for hours or walk along an electrified track to safety.

Oh and BTW the link doesn't work. Had to google it which means, I lost valuable minutes of my life that I'll never get back.

Not sure why the Toronto Star links don't work often when posted. Those minutes were well spent I might add.

Well spent? To hear another union leader bitching about an incompetent worker being fired.

No wonder his allies don't trust him.

Thing is, he don't know what this guy's record is working for the TTC. He may have already been reprimanded 20 times and this is the straw that broke the camel's back... a straw that could have killed somebody. Of course, the union won't tell you this.
