Volkswagen to offer "substantial compensation" and car buy-back deals in the US as part of a settlement of the diesel emissions scandal.

    Tons of money, and nothing for Europe yet.

    Buy a VW now, or you will pay extra to help pay this off for a decade.

    Lancia lost it with the rusty Beta.
