Hillary did pretty much the same thing. She made a speach about cutting carbon emmissions, before getting on a private jet.

They are both full of it.

I don't blame him at all; To charter a jet to fly to the Vatican with your family so that you can shake hands with the pope. He just enjoys the high life that he claims to despise.

I do enjoy him giving Monica Lewinski's ex-boyfriend's wife a great deal of heartburn or should I say "heartbern".

They're all full of it, celebrities, politicians.

In any case Sanders just wanted to fly over there because the Pope's a Marxist. They like to stick together. Bernie had a bunch of free Union money floating around from the campaign so he chartered a jumbo jet and jumped on with 50 friends or so.

What's going to stop him? A conscience? It is to laugh.

Yeah, Yeah, and if Bernie does become president, he'd better ground Air Force 1, take the limos and SUV's for a fleet of smart cars and never heat or air condition the white house, because otherwise he's a hypocrite. No more state visits or attending conferences unless they're within 100 miles of DC.

He had a chance to address an important conference. Vs the rightie candidates that never travel anywhere, never meet different people, and spend their time cooking bacon by firing an AR 15. Now that's class.

There would be nothing hypocritical about say, Ted Cruz jumping on a jet and going anywhere he wants. His ideology is open to it.

The conference Bernie wanted to lecture at was on something like, “immoral and unsustainable” wealth inequality. So Bernie said, "Yeah, let me hire a jumbo jet. I'll get some friends together and we'll be right over. Oh, and is the quail in season? We prefer the wild with a rambunctious little Cabernet Sauvignon."

Plus ya know...Global Warming. What about the melting polar bears, and the oceans turning to acid? Aren't jets supposed to be bad for that?

Cruz doesn't believe it, but again, ya know...he's going to need some re-education come the revolution.

But Bern-boy claims it's a big issue for him right now.

So, for something equivalently hypocritical, Trump would have to be hiring illegal aliens.
