Manufacturing sales Canada-wide rose 2.3 per cent in January to $53 billion — an all-time high, the report released Wednesday says.

Oil is over $40. By the end of this year Alberta could be seeing a recovery if the Price continues to firm.

Most Alberta manufacturing is centered around resource exploitation. Which makes sense that it's declined. Most of the heavy stuff is built elsewhere and shipped here though.
