Great horned owls take up residence in downtown Kelowna

Nature lovers in Kelowna have had a rare treat for the past few weeks: a family of owls has been living in a pine tree near the Rotary Centre for the Arts downtown.

The only thing cooler would be a pair of snowy owls. I can remember when you'd go out to Sea Island where the airport is and see owls sitting on the fence posts. Whenever I've cycled there recently, I have seen nary a one.
