He seems a perfectly rational person which of course means he's totally out of place in the current American political and social climate. Cue a Breitbart "news" report saying he's a Communist drug dealing atheist bible-burning Muslim single mom EBT welfare queen who wipes his ass with the star and stripes worse than HitlerStalinKhomeniSaddamOsamaSatan in ....3.....2....1. :|

There's no pissing contest. The Senate is invoking the Biden Rule.

    http://www.nytimes.com/2016/02/23/us/po ... -1992.html

WASHINGTON — As a senator more than two decades ago, Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. argued that President George Bush should delay filling a Supreme Court vacancy, should one arise, until the presidential election was over, and that it was “essential” that the Senate refuse to confirm a nominee to the court until then.

The Democrats will be made to choke on their own Senate Rules.

Gonna be hard to refuse this one, a key Republican was slobbering over this potential nominee just a week ago.

Not so much. If the GOP holds firm ('') then the Democrats will receive an object lesson in that they should not adjust the rules of Congress to shut down a minority because the Democrats might be the minority someday and those rules will come back to bite them in the ass.

Your legal system suffers when this nonsense happens. It's going to kill everything good about your country one day if this keeps going on.

Someone should have told the Democrats.

Petty political revenge when the interest of the entire country is at stake is not a thing that should be seen as virtuous.

Yeah, we're past that. Fuck the Democrats. It's time to give them a taste of the petty shit they've laid on Republicans every single time they've had the chance.

By the way, I am sick to death of Republicans who play nice with the Democrats because 'we should be better than that'.

    Burn it down.

    Burn.

    It.

    Down.

If that continues then the legacy you leave behind will be spit on by future generations. There's vastly more important things to get done than incessantly sticking it to other people you have a ravenous hatred for.

Lots already spit on the legacy of what the USA has done and given to the world.

It isn't ravenous hatred, it's Joe Biden's own speech in 1992.

Here, stop your silly gifs and educate yourself.
