India scans a billion irises in interest of national security

The Indian government is proposing legislation which would allow federal agencies access to its biometric database holding one billion citizen records.

    This is why governments can't be trusted with private information. They say it's going to be collected for one thing, then they pass a 'Bill C-51' and use the data for something else.
