When Stan and Melody McKenzie went for a drive along the Haines Road Monday, they were optimistic they'd see some lynx along the way.

They have the temperment of an asshole housecat. Met a few out 4 wheeling, they just turn their head and look at you from the middle of the road like "WTF do YOU want?" and then slink (not run) into the bush.
Saw a young one sunning on the pavement, slowly get up and move, staring at me like my cat does if I pick him up and move him off my pillow!

Had the same thing happen with a nice sized Black Bear on the road to Pt Renfrew many years ago. Came around a bend in the road and there, sitting in the middle of the road in a nice sunny patch was the bear, he just sat there, turned to look at the truck, then decided to move, slowly sauntering off into the bush. I swear he looked at me with a look of disgust on his face.

Got the same response as you from a couple bears munching berries on the other side of my fence a couple summers ago. I was peering through the slots in the fence with my camera.
WTF? We're eating! Do we sit at the window and watch you eat? We're not bloody dogs!
