The government isn't spending money on the pipeline, the oil companies are. The government can't force the oil companies to spend the money they would have spent on moving oil on windmills instead.

Our federal government will follow the provincial Liberals in Ontario supporting an inconsistent, unworkable "green" energy source while actively working against the one energy source that can provide both energy and a good source of income.

The pipelines will never get approval with Trudeau running the country.

I dunno about that. I think he might have a better chance than the last crew.

The last crew tried to bypass environmental reviews etc. The current plan sounds like they want to work at making everybody comfortable with the idea. Instead of making it seem like it's getting piped through your backyard regardless of consequences.

Where are these "Scientists" the CBC promised in their title?

The claim was also in the first line, but the rest of the article I just read concerned this:

In a second letter to the ministers, a group of 50 executives from British Columbia's clean technology industry has proposed a series of multibillion-dollar incentives for what they say is Canada's next source of economic growth.

Basically these alternative energy "Executive" guys want the government to buck up a few billion dollars for their use.

I don't see what "Science" has to do with that.

Yup, if green was such a great idea, they wouldn't need billions in subsidies.

How many billions did Obama throw away on this idea ?

How many billions did the Ontario provincial Liberals throw away?
