As opposed to the Muslims POS's that do these things there isn't anyone trying to defend this guy for what he did. Or, more importantly, trying to deflect attention from what he did to something else that's irrelevant.

A few years ago there was huge outrage over this. In part because the Catholic Church was found to hide these scum bags by moving them before they could be prosecuted. Now they are at least, as far as we can tell, they are cooperating with police.

All societies not just religions have scum like this. It's how they are seen and treated by others of said faith that is of issue. Christians who do this are held in scorn and contempt by the vast majority of their fellow Christians. While Muslims who do this are considered by many Muslims to paragons of the Islamic faith.

Priests are held as paragons of the Christian faith. I don't hold my religion responsible, but I do hold the Church hierarchy and the individual priests responsible!

I'm not a big fan of the Catholic Church myself. Yet I do know that priests are held in very high esteem. Those, like the one in the article, when found out are quickly condemned now.

There's at least three or four active CKA regulars who immediately jump in to action to deflect any connection between the crime and the religion of the perpetrators. Islam has a bigger amen chorus of liberal apologists reflexively working on it's behalf than any other retrograde anti-social group/organization/phenomenon that's out there.
