Here's a Blog version of this story.

"Clifford Durand is a student at St. John's University who recently threatened to "smash" a "bitch" in his class because she had a Donald Trump sticker on her computer.

None of the people who speak out about "harassment" against women will have anything to say about Clifford Durand's Tweet, which now has over 14,000 RTs.

It's OK to "smash a bitch" when she holds ideas you disagree with.

Jack Dorsey and the rest of the Twitter team will not stop this act of violence. They play favorites and do not truly care about the welfare of women or any of their users.

You won't hear anything from Jezebel. No one cares.

It's OK to threaten a woman if she supports someone running for President whom you don't like.

Dindus gonna dindu. Going by his writing and grammar skills he clearly got into college as some kind of affirmative action scam. I'd like to see someone stand up for this girl and beat his ass back into the gutter it came from but that's something that just doesn't happen anymore.

    Now there's another one:

Student’s Conservative Op-Ed Draws Stabbing Threat

A student at the University of California–Santa Barbara had to deal with someone threatening to stab him because he dared to write an op-ed with a conservative point of view.

Jason Garshfield wrote a piece in the Daily Nexus, the school’s official newspaper, criticizing the Department of Feminist Studies.

Basically, Garshfield’s piece argued that the department violated the the University of California Regents Policy 3201, which forbids using the classroom “for political indoctrination.” He explained that he himself once took a course in the department, and that it promoted ideas such as gender as a social construct and the “recognition of male privilege,” and that the lessons were taught as fact without giving students the opportunity to contest or debate them.

“How can an academic department which is explicitly named after a political movement possibly claim to be ‘aloof from politics?’” Garshfield asked. “Imagine how you would feel if there was a Department of Objectivist Studies at UCSB. The department was dedicated to promoting Ayn Rand’s philosophy of Objectivism. All of the professors were Objectivists, and students in the department were taught heavy doses of Objectivism without being exposed to a single dissenting opinion. Would you consider such a department to be ‘an instrument for the advance of partisan interest?’ You probably would.”

Now, you may disagree. But one of his peers, Claire Dorothea, went way, way further than that: She posted on Facebook that she “wanted to stab Jason Garshfield” because of his piece.

After backlash, Dorothea eventually changed the word “stab” to “slap,” but not before a screenshot of the original post was captured by Campus Reform. Now, whether you think Garshfield has a point or that his article is misogynistic drivel, you should still ask yourself one question: What might the response have been if someone had been threatened for writing an article supporting feminism?

Threats on social media are of course not acceptable, but also nothing new and it's certainly not a left-right issue.

It becomes a left-right issue after years of listening to leftie morons preaching how hateful and violent conservatives are and how peaceful and tolerant liberals are when it more often than not is liberals wishing violence and/or death towards their political foe.

"More often than not" are you fucking kidding me? How many pacifists out there are right-wing? ZERO How many gun nuts and pro-waterboarders and pro-Abu Ghraibers are liberals? Almost none.

To find examples of "violent liberals" you have to dig up stories about what some random idiot college student or self-proclaimed activist with no formal connections to anyone said or did on Twitter or during some protest. Meanwhile the violence advocated from the right comes from popular conservative pundits and politicians.

If you're looking for people who will sit on their asses as you and your family get marched off to the ovens all while peacefully awaiting their own turn then, yeah, we don't have any of those on the right.

There are no real pacifists, it goes against human nature. There are people who call themselves pacifists who are just deluding themselves. Push these people hard enough and the pacifist loses four letters and becomes fist.
