Gang of migrants in Germany arrested after 'sexually assaulting women' | Daily Mail Online

Police have arrested several men in connection to the incident at the baths. The men have since been released.

The latest migrant sex violence outrage took place at the Linz baths, where a 36 year old mother of three identified only as ‘Sandra F’ by Austrian paper Kronen Zeitung was paddling with her children, a ten year old daughter and two sons aged three and six. She told the paper: “I had noticed six foreigners aged between 30 and 40 years old in the indoor pool. Two were sitting on the edge of the children’s pool.

“One of them sidled up next to my youngest, and had his hands in his underwear”. The woman told the paper she witnessed performing a sex act next to her young son.

The woman removed her children from the facility and informed a lifeguard, who threw the migrant man touching himself out of the pool. The police were not called, the report suggests.

Promising to keep an eye out for migrant molesters in future but promising no change in policy otherwise the city director of swimming pools said of the incident: “We immediately gave our staff the instruction to may more attention for such incidents”.

This is not by far the first sex attack in a European public pool in recent months, although many more are now being reported in the wake of the Cologne sex attacks, the scale of which has given courage to many more to come forward. Kronen Zeitung also notes the minimal reporting of a similar attack in Vienna during December of last year, which only merited limited press attention at the timewhen a ten year old boy was “abused” by an Iraqi male.

Over a month later the Vienna bath has now enacted a ban of their own this week, after a group of migrant males found their way into the ladies changing rooms. Vienna Online reports so-called “refugees” will now only be admitted when accompanied with their social workers.

Breitbart London has also reported on other more recent swimming bath assaults, and the measures enacted to prevent them. The Bornheim bath in Germany were proactive after migrants from three local asylum camps visited the pool and made obscene gestures towards women there, banning all migrants until further notice.

Under pressure from pro-migrant campaign groups and global media attention, the ban lasted just six days before being lifted this week. A spokesman said he “hopes there will be no more sexual harassment” now the ban had been lifted.

A number of girls have reportedly been sexually assaulted by young male asylum seekers at a public swimming pool in central Stockholm.

The identified alleged perpetrators are all 'unaccompanied minors' - young refugee boys who have arrived in Sweden seeking asylum without a parent or guardian.

The four cases involve girls under the age of 18 and all sexual assaults have taken place in hot tubs, pools or in the changing rooms if Eriksdalsbadet, Stockholm, in the past three weeks.

It comes as a Belgian mayor announced that he would propose banning male refugees from a swimming pool for a month on Monday after complaints from female bathers.

'We had women complain because they felt stared at and selfies had been taken with them. It's escalating. We never had any complaints before,' said Marc Vanden Bussche, mayor of the coastal town of Kokzijde.

Bussche said he had decided to act after police were called in to investigate an Iraqi man who had caught an 11-year-old girl as she came off a slide.

The politician from the Dutch-speaking liberal party Open VLD, said he would propose a one-month ban at a council meeting on Monday to allow tempers to cool. The town recently took in 300 asylum seekers.

'In the meantime we will teach them about our way of life and explain the rules of the pool to them,' he said, adding the ban would not affect children and their mothers.

Belgium's state secretary for migration, Theo Francken, advised against the move.

'It's never wise to punish a whole group for the transgressions of a few,' he said in a tweet. 'Asylum seekers live in open centres, they're free to go swimming. But hands off!'

These are only the latest incidents reported in mainland Europe in recent weeks involving sexual assaults allegedly committed by male asylum seekers in public swimming pools.


The German town of Bornheim, 19 miles south of Cologne, temporarily banned male asylum seekers from its pool this month after receiving complaints of sexual harassment.

Last week, the historic baths Johannisbad baths in Zwickau, Saxony banned all migrants after male asylum seekers had been caught masturbating in a hot tub and sexually assaulting women.

Others had reportedly been seen 'emptying their bowels' in the children's end of the main swimming pool.

Sweden's prime minister has described as a "terrible crime" the stabbing of a female employee at a centre for young asylum seekers.

Prime Minister Stefan Lofven visited the centre for unaccompanied migrants in Molndal, near Gothenburg, hours after the killing.

The suspect, an asylum seeker aged 15, has been arrested for the killing of the employee, who was 22.
