He says he has taken "full responsibility" for openly flirting with a subordinate and a wife of someone he is responsible for. Just what consequences did this taking of responsibility entail?

Considering his history with the RCMP and OPP, this is troubling, inappropriate, showing poor judgement, bad taste and abuse of authority. If he is willing to write all of this in twitter posts, what was he doing behind closed doors?

It's not the police chief's fault. She lunged at him and he was in fear for his life so he had to her. :D

Not enough details for anyone to form an opinion here. All we're being told is that the twitter messages between them were at fist innocent, then there were three messages that took on an 'inappropriate tone' and because of that the Chief said he couldn't continue communicating with her. They never met in person. If true, I'm not sure that there's anything to see here.
