"Gerald Michael Butts (born 1971) is the Principal Advisor to Justin Trudeau. Before joining the Trudeau campaign, he was President and CEO of the global conservation organization, WWF-Canada (World Wildlife Fund Canada). The official announcement of his WWF-Canada appointment was made on June 25, 2008.
Butts was also a former aide in the Government of Ontario. He was Policy Secretary and then Principal Secretary in the Office of the Premier of Ontario, Dalton McGuinty, in Ontario, Canada.

Basically he's Justin's version of Valerie Jarret.
Give it a year and yeah, you'll start to see the Steven Harper "Miss me Yet" posters and billboards.
and the answer will be "no" if I live to be 150 years old.
I have no doubt that JT, who is going to be as much of an iron fist leader as Harper was, will have the same problems because all PMOs turn to crap over time. Seems to be the nature of the beast.
That's kind of my point here though. I'm not sure it's going to be like that.
Trudeau seems more an Obama-style narcissist who's content to just sit in the wings and enjoy his perks as long as he's getting his ego strokes.
The problem will be the guys in the background who know that and have Justine on their knee like Valerie has Barry.
I think it's going to be more like this:
with Butts or somebody we haven't seen yet pulling the strings.
Give it a year and yeah, you'll start to see the Steven Harper "Miss me Yet" posters and billboards.
Note to self: 21 October, 2016 (Back to the Future day + 365). Check with Fiddy. Any "Miss me Yet" posters and billboards yet? Except in his mind!
Seems that the sporting thing to do would be to give them a bit of a chance, .
WTF is that? You wonder why we get these idiot politicans when we have a mantra like "might as well give them a chance"
It's not a pickup hockey game when you're going to give the rookie his first shift.
We just put a guy into office without any real world experience beyond being a rich kid with a couple part-time jobs.
Here's Wikipedia to digest it down.

Aww just a couple of wide eyed kids, who are about to find out how the real world really works.
And if they need a old ugly media guy to take one for the team in the Senate, I'm sure Dimonte will be able to help them out.
I used to listen to him on CHOM in Montreal, seems like a hundred years ago.
