And it is also a distraction from the mismanagement of California's reservoirs during the drought in which water has been released from north state reservoirs in the name of preserving salmon runs.
But there are no known salmon runs that have been occurring during many of these releases.
And, in a sheer coincidence, while north state reservoirs are being emptied (supposedly for fish) south state reservoirs are filled to the brim with water that was pumped in from the north.
Which makes me wonder if this nonsense story is being promoted to discredit the real story which is the manipulation of our resources for the benefit of Southern California water interests.
