Naturally, this has nothing to do with Islam, which is a religion of peace.
But to be honest I somehow think this has more to do with her wanting to kill mommy dearest no matter what and finding what she hopes will be a plausible excuse for her and Jihadi Joe in the beheading video's, than any new found religious fervour on her part.
Have to admit a justice system that only give 9 years for 1st degree murder, but expects the perp to pay 40k in damages (from what?) is off the rails.

Well, the conflict with her mother was around her seeing jihadi joe so it's sort of a wash. But I bet she was nuts before any jihadi joe ever showed up.
