It seems like a crazy urban legend: In China, drivers who have injured pedestrians will sometimes then try to kill them. And yet not only is it true, it’s fairly common

    This must be an old tradition because I remember hearing a Canadian WW2 veteran who was in Hong Kong saying in a documentary that's what they were told to do if they hit a local.

    Heard that myself, definitely cheaper to pay for a funeral plus a small stipend than to pay to keep him living for the next how ever many years!

    Dont walk in Vegas. It is not the Chinese driver's that kill, it's the MExican Spanish speaking driver's that'll kill ya. Atm there ahead of the DUI driver's in Peds Killing. Yep Pedestrian Polo is Sin Cities Past Time Sporting Event, next to the Missing and Lost Person's Dept lolol.

    LOL. I recognized almost every location in those vids (nighttime ones harder to id).

    Having lived there many years you see it all the time and just get used to it.

    pfffft.....you bunch of pussies. I drove in Chinese traffic for 8 years, in cities and in rural areas on a scooter and in a car. Yeah they are shit drivers, but it's a hell of a lot better than Vietnam or India
