The 25-year-old Hunger Games star banked $16.5m more than second placed Scarlett Johansson, with $35.5m (22m pounds).

It puts Lawrence ahead of most of the men. Only Avengers star Robert Downey Jr is ahead with earnings of $80m.
Bridesmaids star Melissa McCarthy, came third with $23m and she's now one of the most sought after stars in Hollywood.
