Ever seen those James Bond films where the super-baddie has a pool of sharks and if anybody pisses him off he throws them in there?

Can you imagine seeing that at street level? That would get some YouTube hits.

Good idea. The super-rich should always be made welcome in Britain and initiatives like this which may attract more of them are good ideas.

Thunderball. I happened to watch it last week.

As for this pool... neat concept but I'm not sure about it becoming a reality.

If it is built, here's hoping a flock of pigeons flies over and takes a collective shit as they do.

I can't help but wonder what the cost of insurance would be for this! 8O

    you seethe over what ?
People that can afford something a little over your budget?

People that rise to wealth do so with hard work , not luck.
I realize most feel only criminals and Conservative Senators could afford such luxury, but thats not the norm.

"Super rich"? These places are just about 20% over the median price of housing in London. Maybe they're on the edge of upper middle class but that's about it.

Smart man! Engendering a population of poor people is a shitty national economic strategy.

No kidding, especially because it would not be like insuring an average swimming pool. Much higher risk factor for liability. The maintenance fees would be high as well and I'm assuming the residents with access to it would have to share those costs.

Like so many rich people ideas, it looks cool but I wouldn't be surprised if it killed a bunch of people one day.

Once again, these apartments are not for 'rich' people. They're priced about 20% above the median for London.

Prices in San Francisco are higher than that and the prices in Van aren't far behind.

Many people would have a fear of heights. I couldn't swim there. During the 2006 federal election, I went door knocking with the Liberal candidate. After door knocking, the candidate looked back and said she would never cross that bridge. I pointed out we just did, twice. Once from Merteen's Dining Room on one building to the rec-room on the other, then back. She look horrified. Good thing they're small windows.

Just make sure the Sky Pool is made of strong material. And how are earthquakes in that area?
