During a Conservative campaign stop this morning, hecklers tried to shout down reporters asking questions about Senator Mike Duffy's expense scandal while, later, an irate supporter called one journalist a "lying piece of shit."

    Sounds like tweety bird.

If this was a Lib/NDP guy saying this stuff, heads would explode on CKA.

Harper did the right thing by telling the reporter to finish her question.

Of course, the progholes won't give him any credit for that.

I just picture the poor woman that guy is married to doing the facepalm as she's watching it on TV.

Any 'supporter' that has to resort to using profanity like that is less of a 'supporter' and more of a partisan hack than anything else. Alas, the Right has them as well. Idiots like this make the rest of us Righties look bad, regardless.

    What a complete wanker.

That old guy calling the reporters 'lying pieces of shit' made the most accurate and truthful comment I've ever heard in my life during an election campaign. It bothered the reporters because it true. Practically all of the Canadian media lying pieces of shit. Every single reporter in this country should be forced to wear a badge that just doesn't have their press credentials on it. It should also have a logo on it that shows which political party they belong to or personally favour on it. Show who they give their allegiance too will explain not just the questions they ask but also why they ask questions the way they do and would forever rid us of this myth of press objectivity that everyone knows is a lie anyway.

Agreed. Except for the CBC, the press are all biased to the Conservatives.
