What a boon to the Federal Conservatives. The "leader" of the most indebted jurisdiction in the world and a hypocritical career cop who spent 35+ years ruining countless lives of those who smoked marijuana while now he is adamantly supportive of legalizing it (not including his great work lying to citizens about thei rights during the G20). These clowns are as much an asset to the Liberals as Donald Trump is to the Republican party.

Go forth Wynne, speak the gospel!

Nope, she's not spiteful at all!

The CPC have a large lead in Ontario. Keep talking, Kathleen!

Not exactly correct, and what does jurisdiction have to do with anything when talking about her provincial debt.

and a hypocritical career cop who spent 35+ years ruining countless lives of those who smoked marijuana while now he is adamantly supportive of legalizing it

It was ilegal and T.O. cops usually put a blind eye to it's use. Maybe he sees it should be legal and was only doing his job back in the day.

(not including his great work lying to citizens about thei rights during the G20).

I was not a fan of kettling and the such but he was pressured by the Conservatives to do what he did.

And as Clinton told Donald I will tell you , keep on a Conservating!!! your idiocy shows through .

I don't think she is much on religion.

It's imperative that the people of Ontario realize that a Harper Government is a hindrance to Canada. She is doing a fine job at explaining this.

A fine job of explaining this while billion dollar scandals go without punishment? While she ensures many generations of the unborn will be working to get rid of a massive debt of those currently at the trough? While she promises great things for the province but requires federal help to achieve them?

Oddly, last year she had all the premiers together to scoff at the Federal Employment Plan suggesting that Ontario would go it alone, but of course that only went for employment issues, when it comes to a provincial pension plans she is more than willing to receive assistance after overpromising without a plan. Such leadership (arrogance) is hard to find.

Canada is not in an enviable position regardless of how it is sold, but this is an obvious "scratch my back and I'll scratch yours situation". She wants Trudeau to succeed so that she can have a free reign to place more obligations onto the backs of the rest of the country. If it isn't the security apparatus interfering in the political will of the nation it is a bankrupt premier. When will it end?

Let me tell you if I was the advisor to ANY party not named the Liberals, this would be a slam dunk for me. Imagine, a province with twice the debt of California endorsing a leader for Prime Minister.

She's doing a terrible job, if that's her cause. CPC numbers in Ontario keep rising.

Bullshit. The Ontario Liberals made the changes, in secret, at the request of Toronto Police.

She speaks from experience, being the current albatross around Ontario's neck.

It is also imperative that the people of Ontario realize that the McGuinty/Wynne govt has been a hindrance to Ontario since day 1.
Wynne is doing a fine job of deflection, blaming the CPC for all of Ontario's woes.

Can you actually back that up for it was a federal event.

Blair has got to shoulder the G20 blame.

But politically I don't think it will hurt him terribly, it's too far in the past.

What are you laughing at, your own ignorance?

It doesn't matter if it was a Federal event. It was held in Toronto. In Ontario.

The Public Works Protection Act was secretly revived by the Liberal government prior to the G20, and then used by police to "kettle" or detain protesters.

Then-premier Dalton McGuinty’s cabinet secretly invoked the PWPA in June, 2010. The law was supposed to apply inside the security fence surrounding the G20 summit site. But police misinterpreted it to mean they could search and arrest anyone within five metres of the outside of the fence as well. In some cases, officers even cited the PWPA blocks away. Neither provincial officials nor then-police chief Bill Blair corrected the misinterpretation until after the summit was over.

Kettling and PWPA are two different contoversies. Kettling is a controversial crowd control and mass arrest tactic that Blair is ultimately responsible for, other government officials are unlikely to have been so closely involved .

But really these scandals should be internal to progressives. I suppose conservatives can try to capitalize on this but that would just be opportunism on their part. Conservatives were all for the heavy handed security tactics (as usual) and unsympathetic to the plight of protesters, media or others on the receiving end because as they said at the time, these people "should have known better" than to go near the security perimeter, especially once stories about "black bloc" and vandalism started emerging.

Just like Chretien at the G7/20 conference that was held in BC during his "leadership". Several peaceful protestors were pepper sprayed by police simply for peacefully protesting the summit. His response when questioned about it was along the lines of, "What's the problem? I like a little pepper on my steak".
To suggest that only the Conservatives are heartless and unsympathetic to the plight of protestors is laughable at best.
