Be careful not to paint with a broad brush. It's only a few isolated incidents here. We don't want a backlash against the majority of Jehovah's Witnesses who are just innocent people most interested in going about their lives. The people who did these things were not really Jehovah's Witnesses because what they did was not at all the true heart of their faith, which is a religion of peace.
i'm not the one to argue this with.
no religion is really of peace.

No person is really of peace. Even the most ardent pacifist will lift their hand against you if you slap them enough. <--- I'm batting 1000 on this so far.

Just curious, why have you been slapping pacifists?

Buddhism is. What some people who say they are Buddhists do is another matter, but the scriptures are pretty big on non-violence. Christianity would be if people actually followed Yeshua's teachings, which they gave up doing as soon as they got some political power. Judaism and Islam otoh, sure seem to have a lot of reasons in their scriptures why God wants you to kill people. Janism is very peaceful. As is Mandaesim. It specifically prohibits fighting back, which is why they are being slaughtered by the jihadis. (well, they'd get slaughtered even if they fought back).

This started with Jeanne "Jeanie" Keltner about 20 years ago.
I was in uniform at Sacramento State University (where she was a professor at the time) and she spat on me and was screaming about how I was a killer and I asked her, quietly and calmly, if she was a pacifist. She said yes and I slapped her. (Not too hard, mind you as I was trying to provoke her and not ring her bells.)
I probably slapped her three times before she hit me back.
At which point I told her she was a pacifist and that she was just the same as me except that I was more honest about it.
Keltner, by the way, is a full-on Communist (big C) and her public pacifism schtick is just a masquerade for the violent revolution she espouses behind closed doors.
I've since treated a few others to the same experience and in each case they are easily provoked into violence.
Call it a hobby of mine.
Christianity would be (pacifist) if people actually followed Yeshua's teachings, which they gave up doing as soon as they got some political power.
Christianity has never been pacifist and Jesus never preached pacifism. He did preach self control and proportionality.
Jesus advised his followers to arm themselves when needed.
Jesus also rebuked Peter for attempting to behead someone but never told Peter to disarm himself.
The notion that Christians are supposed to be pacifists who are not supposed to resist tyranny is a lie that's been promulgated by the emasculated and feminized eunuchs, queers, and lesbians who coopted all too many of the liberal denominations in the postwar period.
Along with the not allowing the kids to partake in trick r treating . Christmas is a sin to celebrate.
Even hindus put up trees in Canada , along with buddhists for the kids to have some Santa fun.
Ostracizing the bejeevers out of your kids in a society that uses these festivities for fun is cruel.
How many Jews do the Christmas thing? I know some that do, they decorate the place and put up a tree and eat turkey and give gifts. It's just fun to do so.
I probably slapped her three times before she hit me back.
Turn the other cheek wasn't one of Christ's commandments?
It was.
But Jesus never said to just stand there and take it ad infinitum.
The teachings I've learned is that Jesus meant for people to exercise in response to an affront. The practice of the time was that if you were to slap me I would kill you, your family, your clan, and your entire village in retaliation...much like the Muslims do to each other every day.
He never said that you had to stand there and die instead of defending yourself.
