Police in suburban Detroit are having a little fun while asking for help from the public in figuring out who swiped roughly 28,000 pounds of packaged nuts.

$128,000 isn't peanuts so I wonder if the insurance company that's gonna have to pay for the theft thinks this mug shot is as funny as the Detroit Police Dept?

The insurance company is probably pleased with the police for creatively bringing international attention to the theft so anyone who tries to fence the stolen goods will have a harder time selling them.

I miss grey squirrels as there are none in the part of the country I am presently living in. They would provide me with hours of cheap entertainment watching them find new ways to defeat my neighbors "squirrel proof" bird feeders. Every few months he would buy a new device, only to watch helplessly as the crafty squirrels wound find a way to beat it. Pretty smart animals.

Just little ones here. Chatter like crazy and ten times as fast as a cat.
Matter of fact they drop things out of the trees onto his head to bug him....
