Saskatchewan (0-1) backup Kevin Glenn replaced Darian Durant at quarterback after Durant suffered a season-ending injury with 37 seconds remaining in the second quarter. He suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon.
Luckily the Riders have Kevin Glenn, a team couldn't have a more competent, experienced and capalbe QB in the #2 position.
I've always like Glenn and considered him an under-rated player who maybe is a "great" player that's just choked at the wrong time.
Since he went from 1st string to 2nd string a few years ago, this will be the third time he's stepped back up to the #1 slot early in the season dut to injury.
KG may have "choke" issues but he's better than any other 2nd stringer in the league by a long shot and if past performance is any indicator, I predict the Riders will be able to still have a great season (post-season TBD)
Correction to my earlier post: This will be the 4th season in a row that Glenn was supposed to be the 2nd stringer but became the starter in the first couple of games of the season: He stepped in for Lulay last year in BC and for Tate in Calgary both years before.

Choke factor and all.
He's good, when he doesn't panic.
They look like they have potential for a pretty decent running game...
