An intense heatwave sweeping across Pakistan's southern Sindh province has killed around 400 people, including women and children, in the capital Karachi, prompting the army to step in to help victims of the worst heatstroke that has hit the country in mo

    I think what we consider a "heat wave" in Canada would be thought of as a cool evening in some places

    32C - 35C is a cool evening there. Daytime highs are reaching 40C - 45C. If you live in a cardboard shack with no water, and you've been on the construction site all day, there just is no respite. :(

    And some forward thinking person wants the World Cup in Qatar, where daytime temps can reach 50C. 8O

    Dry heat will burn you in and out factor X2. Vegas has been roasting and when outside it's like breathing in a furnace turned all the way up and being french roasted at the stake. I'll take it any-day over humid triple's. Lots of err naked sites atm in Vegas too :D
