CBC journalist facilitated sales of art to wealthy Canadians he dealt with in his job — including one buyer who had no idea Solomon was collecting a commission.

    I'm surprised. We are told that both the CBC and Star are rightwing hating outlets, yet the Star ratted out the CBC. Is there no honor among rightwing haters?

    Probably hypersensitivity caused by the Ghomeshi debacle where they'll now bag anyone, no matter how high-profile they are, even on a hint of improper behaviour.

    I always thought 'Sunday Morning' was one of his best shows. I kind of liked his dispassionate way of reporting things. And I've listened to 'The House' since it started. It was a good way to get the information that most reporters skip past.

    I kind of don't see the problem here either. He disclosed to the CBC what he'd be doing before he did it. And they were OK with it. Until they weren't.
