Looks like the Wildrose wants some attention.

Well let's just hope Alberta's experiment with electing the NDP works out a helluva lot better than it did for Ontario.

Annual salary of up to $287,000....Thats a good friend...
I actually didn't mind a bunch of novice politicians being voted in, at least they can be molded and maybe theres a chance of a little integrity...
But these old crooks from way back make me real nervous....

The guy currently in the position wont be picking up a yearly salary; he is only there for two months. They are throwing in a person who they know wont fuck things up, until they can find a good replacement.

Really! only 2 months? crap I went over my 10 free reads of the Ed. Sun this morning and can't see this anymore, but when this first hit the news there was no end date mentioned.

It's been 14 years since the NDP were in power in BC, was this guy even old enough to vote back then?

    Just delete your cookies.

If this guy was involved with Harcourt's govt, that's a good thing. Harcourt is a decent guy who took the fall for something that was not his doing - the honorable thing to do. And if they're modelling themselves after Harcourt, you're going to get a mor govt, not the extreme end of the NDP.

Oates said the job lasts until the end of July.
Heaney has been on a leave of absence as chief of staff for the opposition NDP in B.C. to help Notley with the transition to power.

You should really read several sources to get a clear picture of something.

Your right and I don't need to look for a podcast of when this hit the streets.

" Quick put in an end date Rachel before this hits the fan " he does know the spin game.
