Ontario's only diamond mine is known for its exceptional quality stones, but the provincial government made more money on salt royalties in 2013-14 than on diamonds.

    doubt it....I've made more than that by lunch. Nurses make the same if not more, unless they are fresh out of uni.

    Wow, that's a seriously magical $226. Must be some really great deals. Either that or someone in the Liberal party has the Christ-like ability to pull off a "loaves and fishes" miracle and turn it into $226 million.

    I don't see what the issue is here. Huge capital write-downs because the company spent a billion to develop the site. 3000+ people employed to develop the site and 400+ full-time staffers to run the mind.

    The employer pays taxes on their profit, taxes for their employees and now another tax. I agree that the royalty is unfair.
